(1 Tim 4:12 NKJV)\u00a0 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.<\/p>\n
We recently received an email from someone who shared how God has been touching the lives of those in their ministry. They were on fire for God and have been very encouraged by things they have learned.<\/p>\n
But they said that they were too young to minister for the Lord.<\/p>\n
I wrote back and encouraged them to use their lives as examples, even if they were \u201ctoo young\u201d to preach formally.<\/p>\n
You see, our lives are our testimony. We are to let the light and the love of God shine through us in everything that we do. It\u2019s not just preaching and teaching that spreads the gospel of Jesus Christ, but it\u2019s the example that we set each and every day to those around us.<\/p>\n
So, regardless of your age, remember that what people see in our lives may be the only gospel they ever \u201chear\u201d.<\/p>\n
