(Luke 12:23 NKJV)\u00a0 “Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.<\/p>\n
If only we could all “get this”, how different would our lives be?<\/p>\n
Would we spend less time chasing wealth and status and more time asking God what He wants for us?<\/p>\n
Don’t get me wrong. This is not an “anti-wealth” or “anti-prosperity” message. I believe God can and does bless many of His children with material wealth and resources.<\/p>\n
But how many of us spend way too many years of our lives chasing after things<\/i> and trying to impress those around us, instead of seeking His kingdom<\/i> first?<\/p>\n
My prayer today is that each and every one of us will ask these questions of ourselves and seek honest answers from God himself. After all, it’s His<\/i> opinion that counts!<\/p>\n
(Matthew 6:33 NKJV)\u00a0 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.<\/p>\n
