Proverbs 4:7 (NKJV) Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.<\/p>\n
Wisdom and understanding.<\/p>\n
These two things go hand in hand and, apparently, God deems them as being very important for us to have!<\/p>\n
The verse above is one of my favorite in the book of Proverbs because it’s just so straight forward and direct.<\/p>\n
God tells us to get wisdom. Why? Because if we have wisdom, we will also have understanding.<\/p>\n
God’s wisdom isn’t necessarily the same as human logic, so we shouldn’t confuse the two. God’s wisdom comes from drawing near to Him, growing our relationship with Him and spending time in His word.<\/p>\n
God’s<\/i> wisdom might say right<\/i> when human intellect says left<\/i>, and sometimes our minds have a hard time grasping this.<\/p>\n
But once we get<\/i> God’s wisdom, we’ll never see things the same again.<\/p>\n
Therefore, get wisdom!<\/p>\n
