(Mat 24:6 NKJV)\u00a0 “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.<\/p>\n
So have you heard any rumors lately? Maybe you\u2019ve heard rumors of wars. But maybe you\u2019ve heard other rumors, like rumors of impending financial doom. I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll all be hearing many of those rumors during these next few days and weeks.<\/p>\n
Rumors have always been around and they\u2019re not going anywhere. They\u2019ll be around until the end of time.<\/p>\n
But our faith doesn\u2019t lie in rumors. Our faith isn\u2019t built on the shaky foundation of rumors. Our faith is in God and the salvation He provided through Jesus.<\/p>\n
We are not slaves to the world systems and the world view on life. We have a different view\u2026 God\u2019s view!<\/p>\n
I want to encourage you today to be careful not to spend too much time absorbing too much of the negative news that\u2019s all around us. It\u2019s on TV and the radio. It\u2019s coming out of the mouths of everyone who thinks they are even remotely important. It comes from those that you work with.<\/p>\n
But theirs is not the final word. In fact, their word holds little value if it doesn\u2019t line up with God\u2019s word. It\u2019s God\u2019s word that matters. His word says that we are to trust Him and Him alone.<\/p>\n
So stand strong in your faith and don\u2019t let the news of so-called gloom and doom effect the way you live your life.<\/p>\n
