Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.<\/p>\n
So many times we hear this scripture quoted when someone is teaching about the fact that we have to have faith in order to please God. Today, though, let’s take a look at the last few words of this verse: “those who diligently seek Him”.<\/p>\n
We can have faith. We can know that He is God. We can understand that He created everything we see.<\/p>\n
But who does He reward? Those who diligently seek Him<\/b>!<\/p>\n
You see, we can have all of those other attributes. We can have a good knowledge of so many Biblical things. But if we don’t diligently seek God, yearning to know Him more intimately on a daily basis, we cannot please Him and we will not be rewarded.<\/p>\n
God wants our all. He wants our heart… 100% of it. So if we truly want to be who He wants us to be, we need to do everything we can to build our relationship with Him.<\/p>\n
This doesn’t mean we need to be more religious, spend more time in church, quote more scriptures or invite more people to Bible study. This means that we need to “press into Him” and seek Him with our whole heart.<\/p>\n
Then<\/i> we will know Him better and then<\/i> we will be pleasing Him and then<\/i> we will be rewarded!<\/p>\n
Push all distractions aside and seek Him. It’s worth every bit of effort that it takes.<\/i><\/p>\n
