(John 14:15 NKJV)\u00a0 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.<\/p>\n
Jesus is very simple and to the point, isn’t He? That’s what I love about Him. He doesn’t complicate these things.<\/p>\n
Why would He? So we can’t understand what He is trying to tell us? No…He tells it like it is.<\/p>\n
There is nothing complicated about this verse. Jesus is saying to follow Him in all that He tells us to do. We shouldn’t just say it, or preach it. Anyone can do that.<\/p>\n
We need to take the things He teaches us in His word, the Holy Bible, and walk it out… be a follower of Christ. This will show Him that we really do love Him and we are not just saying it because that’s how they do it in church.<\/p>\n
Let’s be careful that we don’t get stuck in a rut, just mimicking what other Christians say or what we’ve been taught to say. Let’s make sure what we say and do is REAL, straight from our own hearts.<\/p>\n
(3 John 1:4 NKJV)\u00a0 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.<\/p>\n
Walking in truth is knowing <\/i><\/b>who it is that we love, and we can tell this by watching our <\/i>actions. Our actions<\/i> and thoughts<\/i> will show us the truth about who and what we really love.<\/p>\n
Keep His<\/i><\/b> commandments today.<\/p>\n
