Matthew 16:16 (NKJV)16 Simon Peter answered and said, \u201cYou are the Christ, the Son of the living God.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Jesus asked the disciples who do you say that I am, Simon Peter spoke up and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. As Simon Peter answered Jesus, Jesus told him, on this rock I will build My church.<\/p>\n

Matthew 16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it<\/span>.<\/p>\n

On this rock. The rock was truth in what Peter spoke. Who is the truth? Jesus Christ, \u00a0He is our rock!<\/p>\n

John 14:6 (NKJV) 6 Jesus said to him, \u201cI am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Are we sharing the truth with others? Or have we become distracted with music, drama, titles, money, etc?<\/p>\n

Let us come back to the simplicity of the truth, Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, the ROCK upon which the church is built. Amen.<\/p>\n
