Revelation 1:8 (NKJV) 8 \u201cI am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, \u201dsays the Lord, \u201cwho is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n

We don’t need to be afraid of anything today.<\/p>\n

Our Father is the Alpha and the Omega!! He has given us what we need to defeat any giant that stands against what He is trying to do in us or through us.<\/p>\n

He has given us wisdom, power and might through the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we can do what He calls us to do.<\/p>\n

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.<\/p>\n

Even though we may know there are things we need to do, it doesn’t necessarily\u00a0mean we can just start doing them\u00a0right away. We need to get ready first, through training and preparation. Don’t just jump in head first.\u00a0Let it happen in God’s time and in God’s way.<\/p>\n

Do we think that David took out the giant with his own might, strength and knowhow?<\/p>\n

1 Samuel 17:45 (NKJV) 45 Then David said to the Philistine, \u201cYou come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.<\/p>\n

No. David came to him in the name of the Lord, the One who taught him\u00a0and trained him.\u00a0David was being trained to fight this giant while doing what he was supposed to be doing in the fields, tending the flocks.\u00a0His everyday stuff.<\/p>\n

God taught Him, first, how to trust Him, by delivering him from his enemy, right on his job! So when it came time to fight the giant, he was ready and prepared. He had a knowing and a trust in the Lord because He had seen it\u00a0for himself, firsthand.<\/p>\n

1 Samuel 17:37 Moreover David said, \u201cThe Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Being teachable is a big part of learning how to take out the giants in our lives. As we listen, and obey God, we\u00a0experience it firsthand and it becomes a way of living!!\u00a0Amen.<\/p>\n
