Ecclesiastes 7 (NKJV) 12 For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense, But the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it.<\/p>\n
We can have all the money in the world, and with that money we can buy everything we want and still \u00a0feel\u00a0empty inside.<\/p>\n
I’ve seen people have a lot of money and still not be happy, or should I say, still not have life. Money can buy nice things, but it can’t buy us life.<\/p>\n
Wisdom gives life to those who have it.<\/p>\n
If we don’t have God’s wisdom, we really aren’t\u00a0living.\u00a0I don’t think we\u00a0realize\u00a0the things\u00a0that\u00a0could\u00a0happen if we\u00a0moved in God’s wisdom every day,\u00a0all day long. The things we would see and the things we would do, oh praise be to God!<\/p>\n
It’s never too late to start walking in God’s wisdom. We just have to ask Him for it.<\/p>\n
What happened when Solomon asked God for wisdom?<\/p>\n
2 Chronicles 1:10 Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?\u201d<\/p>\n
God loved that Solomon asked Him for wisdom and knowledge, not for himself, but so he could do what God called him to do\u00a0correctly. Guess what God did for Solomon.<\/p>\n
1 Kings 3:12 behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you.<\/p>\n
God loved what Solomon asked for and He gave it to him. He went even further than that and gave him what he didn’t ask for as well!<\/p>\n
1 Kings\u00a03:13 And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.<\/p>\n
Solomon’s heart was in the right place and he wanted to do what was right to help the people. We haven’t lived\u00a0until we have walked in God’s wisdom!<\/p>\n
Ask God for wisdom and an understanding heart today, that we may live and make a\u00a0difference. \u00a0Amen.<\/p>\n
