1 Corinthians 13:2 (NKJV) 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.<\/p>\n
In the verses above, Paul is letting us know how important it is to walk in love, and that having gifts, understanding, knowledge and faith means nothing if we don’t have love. Love should always be what motivates us to do what we do.<\/p>\n
We can’t just do things out of habit, out of routine, or ritual. When we do things for Christ, it should be from our hearts.<\/p>\n
Doing things out of love is what makes all the difference in the world. It is what moved Jesus and it should be what moves us.<\/p>\n
Ephesians 5:2(NKJV) 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.<\/p>\n
Let love guide us in our actions, our deeds, and in our prayers.<\/p>\n
