Proverbs 3:11-12 (NKJV) 11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest His correction; 12 For whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights.<\/p>\n
Sometimes we get acting up a little and need an attitude adjustment.<\/p>\n
We all have days or times when we’re just not thinking right and we need to be shown by the Holy Spirit where we’re going wrong.<\/p>\n
It’s not that God is mad at us or wants to hurt us. But because He loves us, He also corrects us from time to time. It’s good for us!<\/p>\n
It’s not always pleasant when it happens, but if we heed His correction and follow His leading, we will be so much better off in the long run.<\/p>\n
Just as we need to chasten and scold our own kids once in a while, so does God need to watch over us and chasten us when we need it.<\/p>\n
So if we have an attitude problem, let’s listen to God’s promptings and follow His leading and get it fixed up.<\/p>\n
It may hurt a little in the short run, but in the long run we will be a much stronger believer and live a life of victory in Jesus \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
