Psalm 27:14 (NKJV) 14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!<\/p>\n
Things change and this requires\u00a0us\u00a0to change with them\u00a0at times.\u00a0The thing that drives us crazy\u00a0is when something changes and we don’t always know what changes to make on our end.<\/p>\n
Not long ago, we were faced\u00a0with a complete change in\u00a0our situation. We were like, “OK God, you have our attention, what do we do?”<\/p>\n
Everything was different. We tried to keep on doing what we were\u00a0used to doing, hoping things would go back to the way they were. But it was not helping or working. So, we began to just pull back,\u00a0pray, listen and watch.<\/p>\n
It wasn’t long before God began to give us direction. We had to make some serious changes. Big changes from what <\/em>we were used to doing and the way <\/em>we were used to doing them.<\/p>\n I’ll admit, new stuff stresses me out. I like repetition and\u00a0routine. I like knowing what I need to do\u00a0and just doing it.<\/p>\n I had to learn that when change comes, I can’t lose heart. I can’t throw in the towel and\u00a0think that everything we were doing before\u00a0was pointless and\u00a0a complete waste of time.<\/p>\n There are steps in\u00a0life, and these steps will take us from one place to another.<\/p>\n God will help us find the\u00a0right\u00a0steps to take as we\u00a0wait\u00a0on Him. And while we are waiting, He will teach us to be of\u00a0good\u00a0courage.<\/p>\n That means no grumbling, whining,\u00a0being frustrated, or acting out in anger.
