Luke 5:5 (NKJV) 5 But Simon answered and said to Him, \u201cMaster, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Simon explained to Jesus what he had already done, and how he got nothing in his attempt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But notice that even in Simon’s understanding of what happened, he still followed Jesus’ word and did what Jesus told\u00a0Him to do. This is\u00a0key.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We may not always\u00a0understand\u00a0why or what Jesus may be asking of us at times. But as long as we let Him lead, we will continue to see Him move, even in our lack of understanding.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Don’t give up on what Jesus is telling us to do\u00a0today.\u00a0His\u00a0words are solid and transforming. You may need a healing today. Your business may need a breakthrough. Your marriage may need restoring. Your spouse may need salvation. Your children may need healing, or you may need deliverance from addictions.<\/p>\n

If Simon said, “I already did what You are asking me to do\u00a0last night,\u00a0it’s a waste of my\u00a0time”, and he did not\u00a0heed\u00a0the voice of Jesus\u00a0and act upon it, he would have missed out on a huge blessing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Luke 5:6 (NKJV) 6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We are believing that as you take that step of faith, and you listen and do what Jesus is speaking to\u00a0your\u00a0heart today, your blessing will come.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Do what Simon\u00a0did, pushing aside his own understanding of what he had already\u00a0experienced and listening to what Jesus was saying.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
