Isaiah 7:14 (NKJV) 14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.<\/p>\n
According to the Webster dictionary the definition for Immanuel is Messiah.<\/p>\n
I remember as a young girl, I would go to Sunday school because my parents made me get on that bus every Sunday.<\/p>\n
I was just going through the motions, doing what I was told to do. My heart was as bad as the rest of the world. The only difference between me and my friends was that I was going to Sunday school and they weren’t.<\/p>\n
One Sunday while the Pastor was preaching, God touched my heart and I believed! I believed everything that Pastor was sharing about Jesus Christ. I believed He gave His life for me. I knew He came to save me and I needed to take the step and let Him.<\/p>\n
I opened my heart that day to Him and let Him help me. I became His and He became mine.<\/p>\n
Our relationship grows each day. Some days I’m tired and He knows it and some days I’m on fire! But no matter what, He is always waiting for me. Even when I’m having an off day, He waits.<\/p>\n
How blessed we are that someone has such great love for us.<\/p>\n
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV) 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.<\/p>\n
He is our Messiah! Amen<\/p>\n
