Luke 15:7 (NKJV) 7\u00a0I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance<\/span><\/p>\n

God loves when we come and repent,\u00a0confessing\u00a0our sins to Him.<\/p>\n

We may struggle with going to Him, but we shouldn’t be afraid. He welcomes us with open arms. He listens to us and then He forgives us and cleanses us from unrighteousness.<\/p>\n

We all fall\u00a0short at times.\u00a0Just the other day I was\u00a0\u00a0constantly\u00a0aggravated\u00a0over things that really were\u00a0out of my control. It really affected my attitude\u00a0throughout\u00a0most of the day.\u00a0Later that night as I\u00a0laid\u00a0in bed,\u00a0I felt terrible.\u00a0I wasted\u00a0a good day,\u00a0feeling\u00a0aggravated.<\/p>\n

I asked God to forgive me and help me to stop trying to fix problems that are out of my control. After I unloaded and\u00a0repented for my behavior\u00a0and attitude,\u00a0I was able to rest, knowing that God understands. As\u00a0I confessed to Him, I felt light again.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0heaviness\u00a0that comes with sin\u00a0is draining.<\/p>\n

1 John 1:9 (NKJV) 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.<\/p>\n

Rest in knowing that God’s arms are open to us\u00a0no matter what kind of day we have.\u00a0He’s ready to listen, He’s ready to speak\u00a0and ready to forgive.<\/p>\n
