Looking back many, many years, to\u00a0when we first started to tithe and give of our offerings, we were in a position just like this woman;\u00a0Broke, and in debt.<\/p>\n

We heard a message about “Entering into a Covenant with God”\u00a0being\u00a0taught that day, and we\u00a0KNEW<\/em> God was speaking to our hearts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We really didn’t question the financial position we were in.\u00a0We just knew we had to take this step if we ever were to get out of our situation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

On our ride home that\u00a0day\u00a0we were silent. It was a humbling kind of silence.\u00a0We had made a decision in our hearts and decided that no matter what, we would make a\u00a0covenant\u00a0with God and give to Him first.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We gave out of our poverty and our need.<\/p>\n

Things did start to change for us.\u00a0We had to work hard and it didn’t happen\u00a0overnight. But God was faithful to His word and His promises.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If God is speaking to your heart to give, don’t wait until everything is just so.\u00a0Start when you feel the prompting. Be\u00a0prayerful. He will guide your steps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God takes note when we give to Him and trust\u00a0that He will take care of our needs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Luke 21:3 (NKJV) 3 So He said, \u201cTruly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all<\/span>;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It was not the amount, but\u00a0the commitment\u00a0and\u00a0sacrifice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
