Proverbs 12:1 (NKJV) 12 Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One of the things I have learned is that just because someone doesn’t always agree with me, or they may carry themselves differently\u00a0than\u00a0I do, it doesn’t mean\u00a0that I can’t learn from them. I shouldn’t just exclude them\u00a0and\u00a0push them away immediately because of our differences.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Listening and learning is a big part of how we grow. We grow stronger and wiser by paying attention to those that may be a little different\u00a0than\u00a0us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We can win battles at times if\u00a0we listen to the right people and learn from them. Sometimes we look at people and think, “well, so and so made this mistake so they are not going to tell me how to\u00a0how to live my life. Look what happened to them, look what they’ve been through. How can they teach me anything?”<\/p>\n

Exactly. They walked through it. That <\/em>is how we learn from each other. By simply walking through things and learning, we will come out with a lesson.<\/p>\n

If someone has been through something similar to what we are going through and they came out of it, then they just might have the very answer we need.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There may be someone in\u00a0our life today that God wants to use to help us win a battle. They have\u00a0walked through the fire\u00a0and they have\u00a0the\u00a0experience.<\/p>\n

Their\u00a0appearance\u00a0or\u00a0credentials\u00a0may\u00a0not be exactly what we would expect, but they\u00a0can help us a great\u00a0deal.\u00a0Maybe\u00a0because\u00a0we don’t want to see eye to eye with them,\u00a0we don’t\u00a0think that they should be the ones to teach us. Boom!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s not up to us to always know where our help, answer or teaching\u00a0will come from.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

One thing to remember is that David brought the giant down! Who would have expected a\u00a0boy to do this? But God knew David and knew he would be the one to do the job.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He knows who we need to help us at times; someone we can learn\u00a0from.\u00a0We can’t\u00a0be\u00a0so quick to say NO to the help that God brings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Be open and patient and in time we will see.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

1 Samuel 16:7 (NKJV) 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, \u201cDo not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees;\u00a0for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
