Revelation 3:16 (NKJV) 16\u00a0So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor\u00a0hot, I\u00a0will vomit you out of My mouth<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Making sure we are not\u00a0lukewarm is very important.<\/p>\n

Many times we can tell if we’re becoming lukewarm by paying attention to the things we are agreeing or not agreeing with. We need to pay attention to the things we are doing and participating in, whether it’s at work, after hours, maybe in school, or on the weekends.<\/p>\n

We need to pay attention to the\u00a0things we are listening\u00a0to, watching, looking at, etc.\u00a0This\u00a0will show us where we are at in our hearts.<\/p>\n

Are we cold, hot or\u00a0lukewarm? No one else can\u00a0answer this for us.\u00a0We\u00a0are accountable for the\u00a0positions we take.<\/p>\n

If we are walking in a lukewarm position daily or even if we catch ourselves heading in that direction once in awhile, we need to recognize it and see it for what it is. We need to know what God says about it and repent, changing our habits.<\/p>\n

When we start making changes in the right direction, we’ll feel that pull from things and people around us. It’ll try to get us to keep on doing what we were doing.<\/p>\n

It will\u00a0make us\u00a0feel like we are missing out on all the fun, all the so called hip stuff, the in crowd, etc. But don’t\u00a0fall for it. Simply take a stand and stick to it.<\/p>\n

Saying no and walking away\u00a0is going to be the beginning of better days and a new and brighter future for us.<\/p>\n

Pray and ask God to open our eyes and our heart to\u00a0discern, and to make better choices.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n
