John 4:50 (NKJV) 50 Jesus said to him, \u201cGo your way; your son lives<\/span>.\u201d So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Jesus spoke His\u00a0WORD\u00a0to this\u00a0man\u00a0and the man took Him at it and\u00a0BELIEVED\u00a0Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This man implored Jesus, meaning\u00a0he made\u00a0a very serious or emotional request\u00a0to Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How serious are we when it comes to getting Jesus’ help? Are we STILL\u00a0trying to fix things on our own and then blaming Him because nothing has\u00a0changed?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is huge, because in this verse there is a need.\u00a0The\u00a0man’s\u00a0son needs healing or he will die.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 4:47 (NKJV) 47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It is a life-threatening need.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What are we going through today?\u00a0Maybe we are facing a life-threatening\u00a0situation as well. Maybe\u00a0with\u00a0ourselves, or a loved one? Maybe our marriage is falling apart, or our relationship with our children needs help, etc. Maybe we are\u00a0up against something very hard and we need His WORD for our situation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But, it doesn’t stop there, we can not just get a word and that’s it. We have to do what this man did and believe. We have to believe HIS word,\u00a0BEFORE we see the results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Here it is…The man did not know his son was healed, but he believed Jesus’ word. It was after, when he arrived home that they told him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 4:52 (NKJV) 52 Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, \u201cYesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The same hour that he believed!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 4:53 (NKJV) 53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, \u201cYour son lives<\/span>.\u201d And he himself believed, and his whole household.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Some of us are on the fence, waiting to SEE the results before we completely believe. It’s not going to happen that way. Believing comes first.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

First, we need to make a very serious request for Jesus’ word for our situation. Very serious; that means even if we don’t like what we know or\u00a0hear,\u00a0we\u00a0must submit to it and follow it out. Second, believe that it will be done according to His word and what He shows us, even before we see the results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we want His\u00a0results, we must\u00a0hear it and believe it!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

May His healing be upon you, your life, your situation and all that you are dealing with today. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
