John 20:24-25 (NKJV) 24 Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said to him, \u201cWe have seen the Lord.\u201d So he said to them, \u201cUnless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I give Thomas credit for being real and honest about what had to take place in order for him to believe. He told them right out, I\u00a0need\u00a0to\u00a0see\u00a0and\u00a0touch\u00a0in order\u00a0to completely believe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How\u00a0many of us feel like Thomas at times?\u00a0We may not like to admit it, but God knows our\u00a0heart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Pretending to believe\u00a0is not going to get our answers or\u00a0our help. Jesus told Thomas right out, do not be unbelieving, but believe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 20:27 Then He said to Thomas, \u201cReach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Why don’t we see miracles more often in the church, in our homes, on our jobs, with our families, with our finances, etc.?\u00a0Because, deep down… there is\u00a0unbelief. There is a\u00a0thought\u00a0that says, “what if?”. What if Jesus\u00a0won’t heal me? What if I believe and nothing happens? What if He does not show up?, etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Jesus\u00a0addressed the unbelief in Thomas and\u00a0He will address it in us. Why?\u00a0Because having unbelief in our hearts causes us to be limited when it comes to what God can do through<\/em> us and for<\/em> us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 20:28-29 28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, \u201cMy Lord and my God!\u201d\u00a029 Jesus said to him, \u201cThomas,\u00a0because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It is when we truly\u00a0believe that we will walk in His blessings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
