Hebrews 11 (NKJV) 11:1\u00a0Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Faith is\u00a0the substance of things HOPED for. Are you\u00a0hoping\u00a0for something today?\u00a0I think maybe we all are\u00a0hoping\u00a0for something, whether for ourselves, someone we love, or someone we know that is in trouble or in need.<\/p>\n

But hoping is\u00a0not\u00a0enough. We need faith.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we have faith,\u00a0it doesn’t have to be “huge” faith. It can be very small faith, but\u00a0it has to be there. And may I add, every situation is different.<\/p>\n

For instance, sometimes we look at a situation and our faith is strong. Sometimes we look at a situation and our faith is just barely there. But at least it’s there!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Hoping won’t do us much good without\u00a0FAITH. Faith is the substance of the things we hope for!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When\u00a0my dad\u00a0was sick\u00a0in the hospital, when he first went in, my faith was strong. As\u00a0different situations arose with his health, and the attempts they needed to make to fix him up got more and more painful for him, it started to show me my faith\u00a0was\u00a0weakening. Why was this?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It was my\u00a0ears. They\u00a0were causing my faith to change because of the things I was hearing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Romans 10:17 (NKJV) 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we want to have faith we have to be listening to the right words. God’s word will speak FAITH right into our little bitty hearts during the toughest or most tragic times.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I\u00a0needed to get my eyes and\u00a0ears off my\u00a0natural father and the doctors report\u00a0and get tuned\u00a0in to what my Heavenly Father\u00a0was\u00a0saying.<\/p>\n

And how many know that when you are in a hard trial, sometimes you hear NADA. That is, “NOT a WORD.” But as long as you keep\u00a0looking to God, those silent moments show us our faith.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So I have learned we don’t need “big” faith. We\u00a0just have to have “some” faith\u00a0that God can work with.<\/p>\n

Stay open and\u00a0listen to\u00a0what He is saying to our hearts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What are we hoping for today? Do we\u00a0have faith that God can do it?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Matthew 17:20 (NKJV) 20 So Jesus said to them, \u201cBecause of your unbelief;\u00a0for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, \u2018Move from here to there,\u2019 and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
