Matthew 5:46 (NKJV) 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same<\/span>?<\/p>\n

Loving people can be a challenge. Some people are very hard to love. Some even seem like they don’t want <\/i>anyone to love them because of things they say and things that they do.<\/p>\n

It’s easy to love those who love us back. It takes little or no effort to do this. But Jesus said that<\/span><\/span> loving only the people who love us back isn’t really much of an accomplishment<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Loving the unlovable is a challenge. It’s hard to do consistently. But, it’s something that God wants each and every one of us to learn how to do.<\/p>\n

Remember what else Jesus said?<\/p>\n

Mark 2:17 (NKJV) 17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, \u201cThose who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the sick who need a doctor. On the same principle, it’s the unlovable who need the love of God to be displayed to them.<\/p>\n

Love is an amazing thing. It can break down barriers that logic and intellect can’t even begin to touch.<\/p>\n

Why? Because love touches people in a way that logic can never even begin to do. It melts the hearts that have become hard. It softens people in ways that no other words or works can soften them.<\/p>\n

Jesus came and walked among men and women to teach us one thing. Love.<\/p>\n

He showed us God’s love in everything He did. And He demonstrated His love by laying His life down for you and for me.<\/p>\n

Now that<\/i> is love like no other.<\/p>\n

John 15:13 (NKJV) 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one\u2019s life for his friends<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Who will we love?<\/p>\n
