Psalm 4:1 (NKJV) 4 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!\u00a0You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Prayer is powerful.\u00a0It’s there, in prayer, that God relieves us of our distress!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When we run into a situation, the first thing it can\u00a0cause is distress. Whether it is for us or someone else. Things\u00a0could be going along\u00a0really\u00a0great.\u00a0But if something wrong shows up,\u00a0bam… how quickly stress can come on us and cause chaos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Prayer is the best place to go with it.\u00a0Instead of sharing it with others, take it to God. That is where we will find true relief.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sometimes we wait,\u00a0we\u00a0ponder\u00a0on it, and\u00a0we try to figure it all out on our own. If we can’t figure it out, we\u00a0share it with others, hoping to get some kind of relief and answers.\u00a0FINALLY, after all that,\u00a0we are so tired that\u00a0we give up and say, “Ok, I guess I have to get prayer.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Go, get with God first.\u00a0If we can learn to immediately go to God, our relief will come quicker and it is an\u00a0opportunity\u00a0to show God that our faith is in HIM alone!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
