1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV) 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.<\/p>\n
Learning how to cast our cares on Him can sometimes be a bit difficult. We’re so used to doing everything ourselves, that handing it off to God requires retraining our minds a bit.<\/p>\n
But it’s truly important that we learn how to do this, to cast our cares upon Him, if we are to learn to walk\u00a0and live by faith.<\/p>\n
There will be days when doing this is a breeze. Then there will be days when it seems like we just can’t let go of our troubles and our worries and give them to Him.<\/p>\n
But we’re here to tell you today that casting our cares on God is the best way, no matter how hard it might seem to be.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s the way that shows our faith and teaches us to trust Him with everything about our lives. And it’s also the way to lower our stress levels, as we learn to let God handle those things that we thought we had to carry ourselves.<\/p>\n
Trials come. It’s part of life here on earth. They can be painful. There’s no doubt about it. And sometimes it might seem like they will never end.<\/p>\n
But they will<\/i> end. They will cease and we will<\/i> have victory. And while we’re going through those trials, that’s the time when we learn to cast our cares upon Him and let Him carry those things that weigh us down.<\/p>\n
Take a step today and do this. Do what God has told us to do. He knows what’s best for us.<\/p>\n
