Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our ears pick up on things being said all throughout the day. We are in control over what conversations we want to get involved in. Knowing this in advance, we need to ask God to help us choose them carefully.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Words are\u00a0powerful and we want to make sure that the things we say bring\u00a0LIFE. That they are good, encouraging, uplifting and helpful.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

How do we help change the atmosphere where there seems to be a lot of negative, destructive and gossipy talk?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We first\u00a0rebuke satan\u00a0and his\u00a0attack against that\u00a0place, or person where we hear\u00a0it happening, in Jesus’ name.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If it’s our\u00a0home,\u00a0workplace,\u00a0school, or even in our church, we\u00a0then\u00a0take charge over the atmosphere in those\u00a0places\u00a0for Jesus Christ.\u00a0By simply\u00a0saying, “I\u00a0take charge over the\u00a0atmosphere of this place for\u00a0Jesus Christ,\u00a0and no weapon formed against me or this place\u00a0shall\u00a0prosper\u00a0(Isaiah 54:17). In\u00a0Jesus’ name.\u00a0Amen.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We don’t let up even when we begin to see change. Because where there are people involved every day, there will be new emotions, new situations, and new attitudes occurring.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in saying the right words when needed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our words and our actions can be very powerful, even when we think no one is listening or watching,\u00a0because we are dealing with more than\u00a0people. We are dealing with spiritual things that have been released into the atmosphere in these places.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God is faithful to help us and give us discerning hearts,\u00a0sharp ears and words of wisdom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Remember, a\u00a0word\u00a0can bring change.\u00a0So don’t be afraid to speak up\u00a0at times and defuse the enemy and his\u00a0attack. Amen<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
