Proverbs 14:30 (NKJV) 30 A sound heart is life to the body, But envy is rottenness to the bones.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What does it mean when it says something is sound?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It means –\u00a0in good\u00a0condition: solid\u00a0and strong: in good health: free from\u00a0mistakes: showing\u00a0good judgment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

To get our\u00a0heart in this sound, good, solid and strong\u00a0condition, we need God and His word to help guide us and direct our steps. We need to have a tight relationship with Him, not just a casual relationship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There are things in this life that the devil can throw\u00a0at us at times that can literally cause us to be\u00a0rotten to the bone. One of them is envy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need to be alert and aware of these tactics that he will use. We need to make sure we are not lining up with him and his plan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Check our hearts today and ask ourselves if we are envying anyone. Do we despise someone because they have something we don\u2019t? Do we treat anyone in particular differently, because we’re jealous of them?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Spend\u00a0some time\u00a0and ask God if there is anyone that we envy and if He shows us, simply repent and ask Him to deliver us and heal our hearts, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We want a sound heart,\u00a0a heart after God’s heart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Hebrews 8:10(NKJV) 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We will be His people and He will be our God!\u00a0Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
