1 Corinthians 12:14-18 (NKJV) 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many. 15 If the foot should say, \u201cBecause I am not a hand, I am not of the body,\u201d is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear should say, \u201cBecause I am not an eye, I am not of the body,\u201d is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Just as each part of our human body plays a significant role in\u00a0being able to function as a whole\u00a0person, so do the different parts in the\u00a0body of Christ play a\u00a0significant\u00a0role in reaching the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Even in the body of Christ, we\u00a0have our uniqueness; our strong areas, our weak areas, etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Consider a few of the different denominations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I was saved and\u00a0baptized\u00a0in one denomination. In another denomination, I grew strong in other areas of my walk with God. Yet, in another denomination I grew even more strong and closer to God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Each denomination\u00a0taught me some very important\u00a0things, helping me to have a wonderful\u00a0relationship with Jesus Christ\u00a0and our Heavenly\u00a0Father.\u00a0I’m\u00a0so grateful for each one of them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s not wrong for people to belong to different\u00a0denominations as long as they are biblically correct in their teachings. We can grow and learn, taking good things from each one of them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I remember as a child, if you\u00a0dared\u00a0to go to another denomination,\u00a0you were looked down on. Why?<\/p>\n

I remember a pastor saying to me one time, when I had left his church to begin attending another one, “I won’t be back to visit you and\u00a0don\u2019t come around my people.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We\u00a0have to rise above this kind of behavior\u00a0if we want to\u00a0reach the world for Christ!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Each denomination has their strengths and operates in them. We can not\u00a0frown\u00a0or\u00a0look\u00a0down at\u00a0others\u00a0because they don\u2019t do things the way we do them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we see that some things are wrong or misleading, pray for them. Ask God to help them find the truth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sometimes we see things go wrong and we immediately have a negative attitude toward the situation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

No one is perfect. Not a church, no pastor, no priest, no evangelist, and NO\u00a0Christian, etc. There is always going to be room for learning and growing\u00a0no matter who we are and what we’ve been taught.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The body of Christ needs to come together through prayer, love, and compassion for\u00a0each other.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Psalm 133:1 (NKJV) 133 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
