Mark 9:29 (NKJV) 29 So He said to them, \u201cThis kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fasting plays an important part in seeing things through at times. But no one really\u00a0wants <\/em>to fast. We don’t see people running around saying, “oh boy, I get to fast today. Yippy!”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Why? Because it’s HARD.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Going without eating is not easy for anyone. Our body wants to eat. It wants what it wants when <\/em>it wants it and can be very\u00a0demanding\u00a0at times.\u00a0When\u00a0we\u00a0say\u00a0NO, it has a fit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Fasting takes\u00a0discipline. When it comes to\u00a0fasting, we\u00a0have to stick to what we have set out to do and when that hunger kicks in, we can’t\u00a0let it change our minds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we are in a situation where we want to see change, but nothing seems to be happening, be prayerful and ask God today if\u00a0there is more we need to be doing.<\/p>\n

Fasting is required in\u00a0certain situations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
