James 1:22 (NKJV) 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If we just listen and never do anything with what we hear or learn, what good will come from it?\u00a0Applying it is how we get results and see changes come; Good changes!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As we read God’s word, this is Him sharing His heart with us. The conviction we feel at times, even though it can hurt or make us squirm, is Him trying to help us. He’s showing us where we may need to change things up a bit. He is not condemning us for what we’ve done or not done, but simply showing us the truth of the matter and how to fix it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s up to us to listen and then do it, not listen and then say, “well,\u00a0I’m still a baby\u00a0Christian, I need some more time for that one”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We all have things within ourselves\u00a0we need to be tending to and changing. And\u00a0not one of us is better at doing it\u00a0than\u00a0the other. We all have to work hard\u00a0and It takes constant effort for sure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Let’s\u00a0focus today on the\u00a0things we\u00a0know\u00a0we need to be doing. And in the meantime, keep loving each other, because we are all working toward trying\u00a0to get it right. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
