Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV) 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s important that we know what\u00a0God thinks of us. People’s opinion of us can sometimes sway us to the left or the right. People’s opinions or words over us can affect\u00a0the outcome of our\u00a0lives hugely.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Why do we let what people\u00a0think\u00a0and say about us affect us? Why do we let it\u00a0mess with our minds and emotions, causing us to sometimes be less\u00a0than\u00a0who God\u00a0really wants us to be?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As children, we learn from the beginning that we get different responses and reactions from people based on what we do. If we’ve done something good and mom’s happy with it, we know that what we did was a good thing.<\/p>\n

As we grow up, we learn what works and what doesn\u2019t work to get praised or get a good reaction from others. And we carry that\u00a0throughout\u00a0our lives, when we go to school or work\u00a0a job, etc.<\/p>\n

Wherever we go, we watch and look for the reactions of others and we then base who we are on\u00a0their\u00a0thoughts about us and\u00a0toward us. Our confidence gets\u00a0built up on what others think or say about us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God is saying today to each one of us, personally, that He has\u00a0thoughts toward us!\u00a0Our confidence\u00a0should come from Him and Him alone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Are we listening to His <\/em>thoughts\u00a0toward us today\u00a0or\u00a0are we letting everyone else mold us?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He\u00a0has a future for each one of\u00a0us. He tells us who we are and who we will become. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
