1 John 2:1 (NKJV) 2 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Each day that we get up, we make decisions.\u00a0We make choices.\u00a0We say things.\u00a0We think things.\u00a0We do things. And with God’s word in\u00a0us, it helps us to stay on the right track and do those things that are right. When we\u00a0do what is right, we know it because it just feels right!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Have we ever felt terrible for doing something right? Did we think, “Oh man, I just did the right thing and boy\u00a0I feel\u00a0awful inside”? Not usually. When we do things right, we know it! We need to always keep doing what is right.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s the same\u00a0when we do things wrong. We will know it. We will feel it.\u00a0It’s then that we have\u00a0to ask for forgiveness and for God’s help to try to fix it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Doing things wrong happens to each one of us at one time or another. It’s part of being human.<\/p>\n

I remember going to church as a child. To me, my Pastor seemed like the perfect man. I was young and didn’t know any better.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Then, when I was older, one day my Pastor\u00a0said something to me that\u00a0hurt me really badly.\u00a0It cut me deep.<\/p>\n

I struggled with this\u00a0because I didn’t\u00a0understand how he could do that.\u00a0He was supposed to be perfect, right?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God knew my heart and thoughts.\u00a0He brought correction and\u00a0comfort to\u00a0me.\u00a0He spoke healing words to my broken heart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He said, “man is man.\u00a0Man will disappoint you at times. Man will\u00a0hurt you at times. Man is not perfect and he\/she will make mistakes. But I am here.\u00a0I will never leave you nor forsake you. Don’t put your trust in man, but in Me”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You see I was looking at my Pastor the wrong way. I thought he could never do anything wrong.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Listen.\u00a0We all mess up at times, no matter who we are. That goes for all of us.\u00a0We should be ever so grateful that when we do, there is forgiveness for us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There is healing, there is deliverance, and there is life through the precious name of Jesus Christ.\u00a0He is an advocate for all who\u00a0put their trust in Him!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Man is man, but God is GOD.\u00a0Hold\u00a0on to\u00a0Him tightly. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
