1 Corinthians 7:3 (NKJV) 3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lack of affection can cause big problems in a marriage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Some people may not require\u00a0 a lot or even a little affection, so for them it may be a struggle when it comes to showing affection to their spouse. They have to learn and understand that others do<\/em> need it, and therefore have to make more of an attempt to be affectionate, whether they’re in the mood or not.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Others may require a lot and so they <\/em>have to be careful not to overdo it with those who don’t need or want so much. They have to learn to respect the other and temper their emotions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s a balancing act on both sides.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The important part is that we are willing to learn and not just overlook it, whether we are the one that needs it or the one that doesn’t need\u00a0as\u00a0much. We should never look at affection\u00a0as being only a small part of\u00a0a marriage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Affection can be that very thing that\u00a0holds a marriage together when the storms around us are beating us down.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Keep your marriage strong by\u00a0letting affection have it’s proper place.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
