John 1:12-13 (NKJV) 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.<\/p>\n

Have you ever stopped to consider what it really means to be a child of God?<\/p>\n

This scripture tells us that those who choose to receive Him, they are given the right<\/b> to become His children. That’s a pretty powerful statement!<\/p>\n

A right is something that nobody can take away from us. Not even the enemy can steal this from us.<\/p>\n

And why can’t it be stolen from us? Because it’s not of natural descent. It’s purely spiritual. And it comes directly from God himself.<\/p>\n

Things of this earth and of this world can be stolen. They can be taken away. But if something is a God-given right, it is ours. No questions asked. There is no doubt and no question about it.<\/p>\n

So as you ponder on whether you’re really a child of God, remember that if you have received Him and believed in Him, you are<\/i> His child. It is your right<\/b>. A right given to us directly by God.<\/p>\n

There is nothing more powerful than that. So kick your doubts to the curb and lift your eyes to Him. And give Him thanks today.<\/p>\n
