{"id":6518,"date":"2016-11-23T01:00:08","date_gmt":"2016-11-23T06:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mybibleverseoftheday.com\/blog\/?p=6518"},"modified":"2016-11-21T13:20:45","modified_gmt":"2016-11-21T18:20:45","slug":"bible-verse-of-the-day-11-23-16","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mybibleverseoftheday.com\/blog\/bible-verse-of-the-day-11-23-16\/","title":{"rendered":"Bible Verse of The Day &#8211; 11-23-16"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Mark 12:30 (NKJV) 30 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.\u2019This is the first commandment<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>We are going to talk about renewing of the mind; something we work on day in and day out.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">This may seem\u00a0like a constant\u00a0battle.\u00a0Why? Because the mind\u00a0has been allowed\u00a0to do\u00a0things a certain way for so long. It&#8217;s been working on its own with no one and nothing standing in its way. It has been free to do whatever it wants, however it wants and whenever it wants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">When\u00a0we begin to\u00a0renew it, we now\u00a0introduce\u00a0it to\u00a0accountability. Not to just anyone, but to the Holy Spirit!<\/p>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">We may think, &#8220;oh, this is great,&#8221;! But when we begin to walk in this, we will soon discover some new things about our\u00a0mind; How much it really loves its freedom with\u00a0NO\u00a0accountability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">It&#8217;s normal to feel\u00a0anger, fear and\u00a0inadequacy at times. Because the mind on its own likes to think it has everything under control and everything figured out. But then it begins to realize\u00a0it does not have any control at all. It is a\u00a0false sense of security and comfort. And that false sense of security is deceptive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">James 4:14 (NKJV) 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">When we love God with all our mind, letting Him renew it, we will begin to understand that the God of this universe, our Creator, wants to help us in ways we could never imagine.
