Luke 6:38 (NKJV) 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Is there someone that God has laid upon our hearts today to reach out to and give to? Maybe it’s just praying for them. Maybe it’s calling them up and checking\u00a0on them. Maybe it’s buying them\u00a0groceries, or sending them a card. There\u00a0are all kinds of ways of giving.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

One day our doorbell rang. We went to answer it and there was someone we knew standing there with a freshly baked, hot pizza. They said to us “we thought you might like this today”.<\/p>\n

Oh boy, did we ever!\u00a0We thanked them and brought it into the house.\u00a0We sat down and gave God thanks. What a blessing it was.\u00a0It was\u00a0delicious!<\/p>\n

When God gives us manna, TAKE it! When God gives us an opportunity to bless someone TAKE ii!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

That person\u00a0listened to God and blessed us. They will truly receive in the\u00a0same measure that they blessed us with.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Are we being givers today?\u00a0This is one of the questions we don’t like to ask ourselves sometimes because we may not like the answer. But we need to check\u00a0ourselves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We can get so caught up in busyness or taking care of ourselves\u00a0that we miss out on an opportunity to be a blessing to someone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Today, as we begin our day, we need to tell ourselves that we are going to be a giver. We are going to keep our eyes, ears and heart open to\u00a0God and let Him lead us in this. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
