1 John 2:1 (NKJV) 2 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sometimes, even though we know what the right thing is to do,\u00a0we choose to do wrong because of our weakness, our stubbornness, our lust, etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The flesh will voice its opinion when\u00a0choices need to be made. It’s up to us to keep it accountable.<\/p>\n

We’re responsible to hold our flesh accountable to the things God tells us in the scriptures. We\u00a0cannot\u00a0let our flesh just run rampant or it will get us into a heap of trouble.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John knew that we all\u00a0slip up at times. Thank God we have an\u00a0Advocate with the Father; Jesus Christ!\u00a0\u00a0He will be there\u00a0to help us make things right. He will never leave us nor forsake us to handle\u00a0any situation on our own. Don’t run away from it. Face it. You can get through this.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hebrews 13:5-6 (NKJV) 5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, \u201cI will never leave you nor forsake you.\u201d 6 So we may boldly say: \u201cThe Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we\u00a0have sinned and feel\u00a0like it’s over and there is no way out, remember that Jesus is here to help us\u00a0get out of the mess. The first step is asking for His help.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He is\u00a0our friend.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
