Ezekiel 36:26 (NKJV) 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Stone is\u00a0very HARD. It doesn’t give. It doesn’t\u00a0flex.\u00a0You can’t squeeze\u00a0it, you can’t bend it, you\u00a0can’t stretch it. It is what it is.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The only way to change the shape and size of a\u00a0stone is to crush it or\u00a0break it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You see, our hearts without Christ are hard as stone. We can tell by the way we act and think. Our attitudes show us our heart condition.<\/p>\n

We may say, “well, I’m kind and giving. Oh and I do love people. Sometimes I go out of my way for others. I even give to charitable organizations. I would say that makes me a good person with a good heart”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Even\u00a0though\u00a0we may do these types of things all day\u00a0long,\u00a0it\u00a0still does not change our heart condition in God’s eyes. The only One who can bring a complete\u00a0change to our hard heart is Jesus Christ. His Spirit living in us will change us forever.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Galatians 5:16 (NKJV) 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

With God’s spirit dwelling in us, our hearts become soft, pliable and teachable. And over time, the desires of our heart will become One with Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God is calling for a people that will surrender their hearts completely to Him, so that He may show them a deeper love and a closer walk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 4:23 (NKJV) 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
