Matthew 5:16 (NKJV) 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When the need for help calls, do we hear it? Are we willing to give up whatever we have going on to reach out? Or does it have to be\u00a0convenient\u00a0for us? Does it have to fit in our schedule, time frame\u00a0or\u00a0plan?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s easy to help when it’s\u00a0convenient.\u00a0But, when it’s not\u00a0convenient\u00a0and we have to put our things aside,\u00a0this is when it\u00a0can be\u00a0very\u00a0challenging.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is when we will have to hold ourselves, our thoughts, our words, our judgments from rising up and being negative about the situation or the person(s) involved.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We have been called to help those who are\u00a0sick.<\/p>\n

Mark 2:17 (NKJV) 17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, \u201cThose who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Those that fall down again and again. Those that mess up over and over. Those are the sick. They need someone to stand with them at times. Someone to help shine the light on that dark place within them, that they can’t seem to fight on their own. We can’t give up on them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There may also be times when God will ask us to pull\u00a0back in certain situations for whatever reasons, and for however long.<\/p>\n

In those moments,\u00a0we must obey Him, even if we don’t understand it and it looks like we need to help. Sometimes staying out of a situation for a little while can\u00a0be the help that person or situation\u00a0needed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Listen for God’s timing in helping. Stand strong and\u00a0don’t judge it one way or the other.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Thank\u00a0God for the opportunity to be a light in a dark place or\u00a0situation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
