Acts 3:6 (NKJV) 6 Then Peter said, \u201cSilver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.\u201d<\/p>\n
The name of Jesus is no ordinary name.<\/p>\n
Once we understand what the name of Jesus can do we will never look at things quite the same way again.<\/p>\n
The name of Jesus sets men and women free!<\/p>\n
The name of Jesus can overcome sin and death. It heals people of sickness. It can set people free from addictions. It can free the captive from bondage.<\/p>\n
You see, the name of Jesus can even drive demons away, even if they don’t want to be driven away.<\/p>\n
Acts 16:18 (NKJV) 18 And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, \u201cI command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.\u201d And he came out that very hour.<\/p>\n
So, if we are followers of Christ, we have a mighty weapon at our disposal, to help us defeat the enemy in our lives and in the lives of others who are in need of help.<\/p>\n
The name of Jesus has the power to transform us. But only if we let it.<\/p>\n
So if we are struggling with something today, and we can’t seem to overcome it, we need to call on the name of Jesus and have faith that he can deliver us!<\/p>\n
We may not always understand this, but that’s where faith comes in. Sometimes we just need to step out of the boat, obey the call of Jesus and walk on the water.<\/p>\n
Matthew 14:29 (NKJV) 29 So He said, \u201cCome.\u201d And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.<\/p>\n
It is then that we will see the power of the name of Jesus in action on our behalf.<\/p>\n
