John 8:12 (NKJV) 12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, \u201cI am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When we have Jesus we don’t want to be involved in things that He speaks against.<\/p>\n

We feel it when we attempt to do something that is wrong, and this causes us to turn from it because of our love for Him.<\/p>\n

We know when we participate in or do something that is dark because of the conviction we feel when we do it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sometimes mistakes happen and we\u00a0realize\u00a0afterwards that what we did was wrong, and we wish we hadn’t done it. That is what\u00a0repentance is for. We can go to Him and ask for forgiveness, and He will forgive\u00a0us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Some people may think “well, I have done something\u00a0really\u00a0terrible,\u00a0and I knew\u00a0better”. Well, we probably did know better. But just knowing something doesn’t do much.\u00a0Our actions and our knowledge\u00a0have to come together, and sometimes they don’t. And when that happens we do \u00a0just the opposite of what we KNOW we are supposed to\u00a0do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If there is a desire in us to continue to do the things that we know deep down are wrong, then there is a very good chance that we have not\u00a0surrendered\u00a0completely to Him.<\/p>\n

Christ cannot do a complete work in us\u00a0until we completely\u00a0surrender. We can’t pick and choose what we\u00a0surrender and what we hold on to. Those things that we choose to hold onto will continue to pull us back into darkness.<\/p>\n

We need to give it all to Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Give those things to Him today and let Him help us\u00a0to turn completely\u00a0from them, that we may walk in the light.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
