Mark 16:6\u00a0(NKJV) 6 But he said to them, \u201cDo not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I love this time of year when we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! It’s a time when we can reflect on what the Father and Son did for each one of us personally. What a plan He had for us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Who would ever want to celebrate\u00a0the\u00a0death\u00a0of someone? This might sound morbid at first. But,\u00a0If Jesus’\u00a0death did not happen,\u00a0we would not have forgiveness for our sins. We would not have access to the Father, or a relationship with either One of them. We would not have the Holy Spirit to guide us each day. No Comforter or Lifter of our heads. And we would not have eternal life. We would all die and go to hell.\u00a0Yes, that was the state we were in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You see it’s through\u00a0the\u00a0crucifixion\u00a0of Jesus Christ,\u00a0that we can now go to\u00a0God,\u00a0ask for forgiveness\u00a0and He will\u00a0forgive\u00a0us of all sin and save us.\u00a0Jesus Christ’s\u00a0death was a perfect sacrifice, because He was perfect in all\u00a0ways. His non-sinful\u00a0being was Holy. It\u00a0covered every sin and sickness.<\/p>\n

And just as His death paid for our sins and bought our salvation, His resurrection secured eternal life for us, giving us the incredible hope of life after death, to be resurrected ourselves, and to spend eternity with Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We can all have\u00a0what God\u00a0offers us through His Son. How? By believing (putting our faith) in Him,\u00a0letting Him into our daily lives\u00a0and then loving\u00a0Him\u00a0by obeying His words.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 14:15 (NKJV) 15 \u201cIf you love Me, keep My commandments<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Jesus Christ is our answer from our Heavenly Father! He is our example of how God wants us to live our lives each day. He came to serve. He loved us more than we know, and He gave His life for each one of us. He is our Savior!<\/p>\n

Let us rejoice today for He is Good! Amen.<\/p><\/div>\n

John 3:16\u00a0(NKJV) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
