John 10:27 (NKJV) 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Lord speaks to His children, each and every\u00a0one\u00a0of us, from time to time. Many people ask what\u00a0His\u00a0voice sounds like. We get asked quite frequently, “how do I hear God’s voice?”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Learning to hear His voice takes time. It also requires\u00a0a willingness on our part to stop what we are doing and hear what He is\u00a0saying. It takes us\u00a0listening to what we hear\u00a0and then doing what He may be asking\u00a0us to do. It’s a\u00a0faith walk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sometimes we may find\u00a0ourselves\u00a0making a\u00a0mistake, thinking we were doing the right thing. Later we realize\u00a0it was not Him, but merely our own desire\u00a0or\u00a0idea.<\/p>\n

It’s OK\u00a0if we have missed it at times.\u00a0We just need to repent\u00a0and get back on the right track. God does not expect us to be perfect at this.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

To learn His voice\u00a0takes drawing close to Him and, over time, we will get better at\u00a0it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We are always learning as we go and it doesn’t just happen\u00a0overnight. It takes listening\u00a0and discerning, which the Holy Spirit will help us with as we go.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Don’t be afraid to ask God to speak to you and to help you with your decisions. He is always willing and ready.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Just listen.\u00a0He may bring the answer to us in\u00a0a way\u00a0we would never have expected.\u00a0So we need to be open minded and use His word as our guide\u00a0and our measuring stick. His voice will always line up with His word, the Holy Bible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
