James 5:16 (NKJV) 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

God will sometimes lay people on our hearts, to pray for them. Praying for one another is not hard to do and it can be very enjoyable, especially when we begin to see the change that it brings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What we find hard is the discipline we need\u00a0to stop what we are doing, put ourselves aside,\u00a0shut down the thinking process and simply take the time to do it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I remember not long ago I was\u00a0visiting someone in the hospital. He could barely talk, walk or eat. He was weak as a kitten and really did not have much time left here.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I happened to be sharing with him about someone else we both knew that was going through a hard time. With all of what little strength he had, he told me that\u00a0he would be praying for them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Boy, did that grip me. It\u00a0touched me and blessed\u00a0me\u00a0to\u00a0hear and\u00a0see that.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

No matter what state we are in, we can pray. Even if it is just “God, help them”. God knows our heart and the sincerity it comes from.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Praying for each other is what will get us all through our situations. It brings change! Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
