Psalm 37:4 (NKJV) 4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

My birthday was coming up and Pastor Curt was planning to take me for a guided sunset boat tour on the ocean. As we checked the weather forecast earlier in the week, it was calling for clouds and rain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I wanted so badly to be able to go and just enjoy it.\u00a0So,\u00a0I asked God, in\u00a0spite of the forecast and what everyone kept telling me, “if He would give me a nice day”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The day came, and\u00a0as I began to wake and open my eyes, I heard those words from my husband; Happy Birthday!<\/p>\n

I looked outside immediately, with great excitement, and it looked pleasant.\u00a0I knew that God had heard my thoughts,\u00a0concerns and prayers and I was ever so grateful!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I continued on with my day, just thanking God. But I kept hearing people say there was some rain coming and it was supposed to be bad! Even\u00a0the tour guide kept telling us to keep an eye out because we may have to\u00a0cancel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But, no rain all day long. Just pleasant weather.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As the evening approached and we were getting into the little boats to head out for our tour, I\u00a0just kept thanking God for what He gave me and I was enjoying every second of it while it lasted.<\/p>\n

The weather that evening turned out to be beautiful! Even the guides\u00a0were amazed at how calm and peaceful it was.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Right before the sun began to set, the sky began to close up, as clouds moved in. I asked my husband where the sun would be setting and he pointed to it. There\u00a0were no signs of the\u00a0sun at all. Just clouds.<\/p>\n

I still hoped for a sunset. But I was OK\u00a0at this point with however it turned out, because the rest of my day was so beautiful and it hadn’t rained!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As the sky began to get dark and evening was setting in, the most amazing thing happened. We could see a little bit of the sun peeking through! Then it got bigger and bigger.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And we had one of the most amazing sunsets we had ever seen!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I\u00a0testify today of God’s heart for us, to do good for us. That personal touch\u00a0is there. We just have to go to God, and ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ.\u00a0Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
