Romans 8:37 (NKJV) 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Life and its problems can take its toll on us. It can cause a spiritual and a natural exhaustion as we face certain situations, even though God tells us in His word that we are more than conquerors through Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It doesn’t mean that our spirit, mind and soul don’t need a place to go and find rest and shelter. Part of conquering things through Him, our Lord, is learning to pull away and go somewhere quiet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

For some, this may be a much-needed\u00a0vacation.\u00a0For others it is just a drive to a spot that we\u00a0know is\u00a0quiet and peaceful.\u00a0It could also\u00a0be as simple as\u00a0walking out into our\u00a0own back yard and sitting for a while, unwinding and reflecting on God and His blessings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Getting to that quiet spot where no one can reach us\u00a0is so important.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s hard to believe, but taking rest at the right time can actually build us up in helping us to be those conquerors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Take time today and go to a quiet spot where we can find rest, where we can let\u00a0God have us all to Himself, where we can listen and where we can get things off our chest. God is that special Someone who wants to hear what we have to say and really cares about how we feel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Find that place of rest and take shelter in Him\u00a0today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
