John 14:1 (NKJV) 14 \u201cLet not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Are you troubled today?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Has something happened recently that concerns you or is causing you to worry? Do you spend your days worrying and fretting?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We all go through this once in a while.\u00a0Stuff\u00a0happens in life that can cause us to stumble, and our faith can even waver at times.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But as we walk through each day, it’s important that we don’t let our troubles become our focus.\u00a0Focusing\u00a0on our problems will only make them seem bigger than they are. Even if they\u00a0are<\/i>\u00a0big, spending all of our time thinking about them will make them seem even bigger.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus told us not to let our hearts be troubled. His words are true and trustworthy.\u00a0So\u00a0it would benefit us greatly to heed what He says!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s\u00a0not always easy to do that. This is why it’s so important that we strengthen and build our walk with God. As we grow closer to Him, we learn to trust Him more. As we trust Him more, our faith grows. And as our faith grows, we spend less and less time with troubled hearts, worrying about every little thing that comes our way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So,\u00a0we need to take our troubles, and the yoke and burden they place upon us, and trade them in for the yoke of Jesus. Because His yoke is easy and His burden is light.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Matthew 11:29-30 (NKJV) 29\u00a0Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
