Proverbs 29:25 (NKJV) 25 The fear of man brings a snare,\u00a0But\u00a0whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Are we afraid of man? Do we walk around, fearful\u00a0of what\u00a0people may try to do to\u00a0us if we don’t do what they say, or act the way they want us to act? If so, we may live our lives doing everything we can to please them, even if it is something we know we shouldn’t be doing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Many people live like this and don’t even realize it. More\u00a0than\u00a0we would\u00a0expect, including people we would\u00a0never expect it from.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What does fear of man do? It gives people control over us. It puts them in charge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When we are afraid of man, we lose our identity. We walk in intimidation and fear daily, and we are at their beck and call.<\/p>\n

There will be times when we know we should speak up, stand up or walk out, etc., but we feel\u00a0paralyzed and unable to do so.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We’ve\u00a0allowed this fear of man to dominate us and control\u00a0us. If we give man the upper hand, he will take it.<\/p>\n

Let God deliver us and help us get free from the fear of man today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Dear God in Heaven,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I come to You today and ask for forgiveness for my fear of man. I ask You to help me and deliver me\u00a0from this fear. I am willing to take the steps You have for me and I no longer want to live this way. But instead, I put every bit of my trust in You.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I rebuke the spirit of fear\u00a0and his attack\u00a0against me, in Jesus’ name. I am no longer in bondage to him, but claim my\u00a0freedom\u00a0to speak up,\u00a0to stand up,\u00a0to walk where I need to walk\u00a0and\u00a0to make the right\u00a0decisions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Show\u00a0me\u00a0how to stand firm\u00a0Lord,\u00a0as I want to live by Your strength every day. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
