Deuteronomy 28:2 (NKJV) 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God wants to bless us. He wants to pour out many different blessings on our lives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We all want to be blessed. There is not a single person who can honestly say that they do not want to be blessed by God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The question, though, is this; are we willing to do what God requires us to do so that He can bless us?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Some may think of this as legalistic, or counting on our works as a means of gaining blessings. In reality, though, it is simply following the truth of God’s word.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We are taught\u00a0throughout\u00a0His word that we reap what we sow. And\u00a0so\u00a0it is with God. We sow, we reap. We obey. We are blessed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Is that legalistic? Not at all. It’s basic Biblical principals at work. God tells us what<\/em> to\u00a0do, why <\/em>we should do it,\u00a0and what will happen <\/em>when we do it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Then, we\u00a0do it. And God keeps His promise. Plain and simple.<\/p>\n

God speaks only truth. It’s up to us to do what He says. And when we do it, we see results. It’s not us\u00a0manipulating\u00a0God or twisting His word.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s simply the body of Christ doing what God says we should do. Nothing more, nothing less.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, do we want to be blessed? Do we want to walk in the abundance of God in every aspect of our lives? Do we want to see God move in every way that He wants to move?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s up to us. We choose. We decide how much, or how little, God can move on our behalf and bless us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We do not follow God simply to receive blessings. But as we do follow God, and we obey the voice of the Lord, He will be faithful to bless us, as He has promised in His word.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
