{"id":8646,"date":"2018-02-07T01:00:31","date_gmt":"2018-02-07T06:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mybibleverseoftheday.com\/blog\/?p=8646"},"modified":"2018-02-02T09:59:17","modified_gmt":"2018-02-02T14:59:17","slug":"bible-verse-of-the-day-2-7-18","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mybibleverseoftheday.com\/blog\/bible-verse-of-the-day-2-7-18\/","title":{"rendered":"Bible Verse of The Day &#8211; 2-7-18"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Isaiah 64:8 (NKJV) 8 But now, O Lord,\u00a0You\u00a0are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter;\u00a0And all we are the work of Your hand.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Surrendering it all to God is the most powerful position to be in.<\/p>\n<p>When we can say, &#8220;God, you can have me and everything I own&#8221;, we are setting ourselves up\u00a0for His great and mighty work to be done, in us and through us. But we\u00a0are also getting ready for a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Him than we have ever experienced.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Getting to this point requires us to take steps ahead of time that will help us to see that we truly\u00a0need to surrender everything. And the only way to get there is to start at the beginning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">We need to\u00a0give God the room He needs in our daily routine. That means we can plan out our day, but we need to listen and stay alert to God&#8217;s promptings. Sometimes God will warn us about specific things. He may see danger for us, and through His promptings He will cause us to think twice about heading in that direction. Listen to those little promptings, so we don&#8217;t have to change our plans over and over again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">I&#8217;ve done\u00a0this many times, and I&#8217;ve learned from my errors.\u00a0It&#8217;s better to go to Him first and ask\u00a0about certain occasions, rather than having to change things up after we\u2019ve made plans and\u00a0spent money, etc., to carry it out.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">We need to spend personal one-on-one time with Him. And yes, we have to do this even when we have a busy day. God should be the first One we talk to every day. He will start us off on the right track.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">We need to pick up our Bible and read it.\u00a0His word will change us. That is a promise. Even if we don&#8217;t understand it word for word, it&#8217;s OK. The Holy Spirit will help us\u00a0and bring understanding. He&#8217;s Amazing!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">When we begin to let God into our daily routine, we will see the importance of surrendering to Him.
