Psalm 57:2 (NKJV) 2 I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Oh Lord, do you hear me down here? This is what we’d like to ask Him sometimes. We usually don’t, though, because we\u00a0are afraid to address Him in such a manner.<\/p>\n

But\u00a0understand, God would want us to be respectfully honest with Him. He already<\/em> knows what we are\u00a0thinking and feeling.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

One may say, “well, if He already knows, then why do we have to say it?”.<\/p>\n

Because, it’s not for His <\/em>benefit, but for ours. When we say something, or confess it with our mouth, what happens? We hear ourselves speak.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s important to hear what we are asking\u00a0for,\u00a0just as it’s important to hear what God is saying back to us. If we are a believer, a child of God, He absolutely\u00a0hears our cry in that moment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

One day in the not-too-distant past, I was at the hospital. I kept receiving bad news regarding a family member. It was one thing after another. It was hitting me so hard, all at once.\u00a0I had gotten to the point where all I could say was, “Oh Lord.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But even in those two\u00a0small words, God heard me. He knew what I needed and He answered my cry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Don’t stop crying out to Him. Keep talking to Him. If we have\u00a0questions, we need to ask Him. He is listening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Don’t ever give up on Him answering us back. He is faithful, He is kind and compassionate. And He performs all things for us!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
